Hi, I'm Shirley!
The postpartum period is tender, overwhelming, and transformative — and no family should have to navigate it alone, especially in the middle of the night.
My passion for supporting new families became evident after the birth of my youngest son in 2015. That experience changed me deeply and made it clear that I was meant to walk alongside parents during this powerful moment in our lives. In 2016, I trained as a birth doula through DONA International, and in 2021 I became a postpartum doula through CAPPA. I also hold a Master’s degree in Social Work, which allows me to provide support that is both compassionate and grounded in evidence-based practice.
While I support families in many ways, my heart is especially in overnight postpartum care. There is something uniquely vulnerable about the middle-of-the-night hours — when sleep deprivation creeps in, doubts feel louder, and there is no one there to help. That is when I feel most helpful.
My role overnight is to create calm in the quiet hours — caring for your baby, protecting your rest, offering reassurance, and ensuring you wake feeling supported rather than depleted. My goal is to help families move from survival mode to confidence and calm, especially during those long nights that can feel endless. You deserve rest. You deserve support. You deserve to feel steady in the night — and to be the best parent you can be.
When I’m not supporting families (or taking a nap), you’ll find me with a coffee in hand (a necessity for night work!), enjoying nature, planning my next trip, enjoying a TV Series, or at sports with my two incredible boys (15 and 10).
Rates for services: $60/hour overnight, Overnight care session (8hrs) $480, (9hrs) $540, (10hrs) $600. Golden Night Package (10 sessions of 8hrs each) $4,800, (10 sessions of 9hrs each) $5,400, (10 sessions of 10hrs each) $6,000.
*Prefers sessions that are 10 hours, but offers sessions that range from 8-10 hours.
